The video feed will play autoplay at the specified event 'start time' that you select during the event creation process in Altar Live. This means that you don’t need to click Go Live for the video to begin. You can still use the Go Live button to start the live stream feed early if you need to.

To get a full picture of the flow of an event in Altar Live, read more about event timing here.

Specify the event start time

You can find the Start time on the General Details step during the live event creation.

This start time will be displayed on the event details when you share the event with others. This is the actual start time of your live stream feed. Your feed will automatically start when the countdown timer hits 00:00.

Manually Go Live

A Greeter or Host can click the Go Live button at any time to begin the live stream feed early.
