Welcome to Altar Live! The first step to getting started is to create a Community. In your Community, you will create events, add and manage members, and manage your account details.

Can I have more than one Community?

If you already have an account with Altar Live, you can also create more than one community.

Who can create Communities?

Anyone can create a new community. Each Community has a Community Manager. By default, the Community Manager is the person who created the Community.

Creating a New Community

To set up your new Community, all you need is to go through our onboarding flow.

Step 1: Go to our website.

Step 2: Click on the Start For Free button.


Step 3: Enter your email address into the email address field. Once the email address is entered, please click on the Create Community Account button.


Step 4: To start setting up your community, please add your name and set up a password. Then click the Proceed button.

Step 5: Choose a name for your community and click the Create New Community button.


Step 6: Please select an option to tell us how you see yourself using Altar Live

Step 7: Create a free event or meeting!


Step 8: Please check your email and find the Email verification email from Altar Live to verify your email address. If you do not receive an email, please click the option to send it again. If you made a typo, please click on change it.

Creating a New Community as an Existing User

Step 1: Upload an image from your computer that will be displayed in the Community Profile for all the members. You can upload the image by clicking on the Upload Your Best Community Image area.

Step 2: Once the image is uploaded, Fill out the rest of the Community Details. If you do not want to upload the image on this step, feel free to “Skip” this step. If you want to go back to the previous step, please click on the “Back” button



Step 3: Once you fill out the Community Details page, you are now free to schedule and host events. You can even participate in a free practice event.

Step 4: Copy the URL in your browser and you will be able to participate in a free practice event so you can grow accustomed to Altar Live events.
