Favicons are an easy way to tie your community’s brand into the user’s Altar Live experience.  You can use a custom favicon to replace the default Altar Live favicon on all your community’s tabs.

Customizing your Favicon

Step 1: Log into your Altar Live account.

Step 2: Click on the settings button on the left side of the screen.

Step 3: Choose the Appearance tab.

Step 4:  Scroll to the bottom of the page and find the section labeled “Favicon”.  Click on “Choose Image” (or “Replace Image”).

Step 5:  Select an image from your device to upload.

Note: The suggested image size is 270px x 270px.

Step 6:  A preview of your favicon now appears on the sample tab at the bottom of the “Favicon” section.  Once you have uploaded an image that you like, press the “Save Changes” button at the top right of the screen.

Step 7: Congratulations!  You’ve customized your community favicon.  To see how it looks on an actual tab, you can visit your community’s landing page!
