Sharing Video & Audio

Sharing video and audio is so much better than just a screen share. Sharing a YouTube video or audio from Spotify is perfect for small groups and Bible studies. Whether you are leading an Alpha group or a RightNow Media bible study, you have the ability to share the video seamlessly with all attendees without having to use screen-share.

How to Share Video 

Step 1. Start a Meeting/Go to your Personal Meeting Room 

Step 2. Click on the 3 dot menu on the menu bar at the bottom of the screen 

Step 3. Select “Share Video.” You will then see a pop-up menu where you can input your desired video link. 

Step 4. Input your video link. 

Step 5. Congratulations! You have successfully shared your video. As a Host/Admin, you have complete control over the video. You can pause/play, fast forward, and adjust the volume for everyone.

How to stop sharing Video 

Step 1. Go to the 3 dot menu on the menu bar at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2. Select “Stop Video” 

How to Share Audio 

Step 1. Start a Meeting/Go to your Personal Meeting Room 

Step 2. Click on the 3 dot menu on the menu bar at the bottom of the screen 

Step 3. Select “Share Audio.” and you will see a pop-up menu instructing you to share your browser.

Step 4. Open a new tab in your browser and go to your desired audio (AppleMusic, Spotify, YouTube, etc.) 

Step 5. Go back to the Meeting tab and click “Continue” on the pop-up menu

Step 6. Select the browser tab

Step 7. Click on the tab with your desired audio and press the "Share" button

Step 8. You are now sharing audio! The sound of your choice is ready to be played. As a Host/Admin, you have full control over the audio. You can play/pause the audio for everyone in the Meeting. 

NOTE: Only the person who is sharing audio can see the shared screen. 

How to stop sharing Audio 

Step 1. Click the “Stop Sharing” button on the bar at the top of the screen. This will stop sharing the audio, but the audio may still be playing from your device. 

OR 

Step 1. Go to the 3 dot menu on the menu bar at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2. Select “Stop Audio Sharing”
