- You can use vMix for free for 60 days, after that you will need to purchase the software
- To connect vMix to Altar Live it is necessary to stream to Facebook/Youtube destination and then to our platform.
- vMix does not support direct embedding to other websites or third party platforms like Altar Live.
Please follow these steps to connect vMix to Altar Live platform:
Connecting vMix to Youtube
Step 1: Log into your YouTube account.
Step 2: Click the +Video icon and select Go Live.
Step 3: On the following screen, select the Stream tab from the left side of the screen and click Create Stream to continue.
Step 4: Next you will see some Stream Settings including a Stream Key. Click the Copy button to copy the Stream Key.
Step 6: Open vMix application.
Step 7: Open up the stream settings window in vMix. From the Destination dropdown menu, select the YouTube Live option. Underneath that will be a Stream Key field. Paste the Stream Key you have copied into this field.
Step 8: Click Save and Close to save your YouTube Stream settings
Step : To begin the stream click the Stream button in your vMix window or open the Stream window and click Start to begin sending the stream to YouTube Live.
Step 10: Go back to your web browser where you should now see the live stream preview showing. Once the connection with vMix is complete the stream will be live automatically.

Connecting vMix to Facebook
Step 1 : Open vMix application.
Step 2: Open up the stream settings window in vMix. From the Destination dropdown menu, select the Facebook option.
Step 3: Сlick Facebook Settings button.
Step 4: Click Login to Facebook button in the pop-up opened.
Step 5: Log in to Facebook. When asked Who can see vMix posts on your Timeline?, be sure to select Public. This gives vMix permission to post the live stream on your Facebook timeline or the timeline of any pages you manage.
Step 6: Go to your vMix application. Click Create Stream once you have it set up.
Step 7: To begin the stream click the Stream button in your vMix window or open the Stream window and click Start to begin sending the stream to Facebook Live.
Step 8: Once the connection with Facebook is completed, the Stream button will become red
