Welcome to Altar Live! The first step to getting started is to create a Community. In your Community you will create events, add and manage members, and manage your account details.
Each Community has a Community Manager. By default, the Community Manager is the person who created the Community. You can learn more about updating Community and Member account settings and permissions.
Creating a New Community
To set up your new Community, all you need is to go through our onboarding flow.
Step 1: Go to our website.
Step 2: Click on the Get Started button.
Step 3: Click on the Create New Community button.
Step 4: Enter your email address to the email address field. Once the email address is entered, please click on the Submit button.
Step 5: To start setting up your community, please click on the Start button.
Step 6: Please enter the community details into this form. Once all the information is entered, please click on the Proceed button.
Step 7: Upload an image from your computer that will be displayed in the Community Profile for all the members. You can upload the image by clicking on the Upload Your Best Community Image area.
Step 8: Once the image is uploaded, click on the Proceed button. If you do not want to upload the image on this step, feel free to “Skip” this step. If you want to go back to the previous step, please click on the “Back” button
Step 9: Next, set up your personal profile. Please enter your personal details into this form.
Step 10: Once all the information is entered, please click on the Proceed button. Also, you can go back to the previous step by clicking on the Back button
Step 11: Please check your email and find the Email verification email from Altar Live to verify your email address. If you do not receive an email, please click on here to resend it. If you made a typo, please click on change it.
Step 12: Once your email is verified, please click on the Confirm button. Also, if you click on the Confirm button from the verification email, you will be redirected to the Altar Live.
Step 13: Please go through the onboarding process by clicking on the Next button. There are three steps that will show you the high level features of the platform.
Step 14: Once three steps are passed, you can click on the Begin button.
