In order to simplify geographical differences for your online community, Altar Live automatically shows event times based on the viewer's time zone. If your event's start time isn't displaying like you expected it to, here's how you double-check and adjust your time zone settings:

Step 1: Go to Settings > General > Address Info to find your community's Time Zone setting.

Step 2: Adjust the time zone to reflect the location you will be creating events from. Since Altar adjusts event start times to each attendee's time zone, we recommend adjusting this setting to reflect the time zone you are currently in, not your attendees.

Step 3: Don't forget to save your changes by pressing the button on the top right corner of the screen!

That's it! Now when you create events, the start times will now reflect your current time zone.

Note: If you're a community member and you notice event start times seem to be off, share this tip with your community's admin!
