Custom text is shown after you specify repeat settings
Now when you edit a recurring event with a Custom repeat settings, it's easier to see what you selected. When you create a recurring event and select Custom repeat, the specifications you select (i.e. Repeat every week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, ending on 05/13/2021) will be displayed next to the Repeat drop down box.
Recurring events cannot be edited to be non-recurring once they are created
You cannot change a recurring event into a non-recurring event anymore. This prevents issues occurring with the event.
