To run an event in Altar Live, you must already be live streaming your service or events. Currently, Altar Live only supports live stream providers that have their own video player. Check back soon for updates for supporting iframe embed code!

To connect the stream, first check with your stream provider to find where to copy the live stream url or link, not an embed code (with iframe parameters). Below are some of the most common live stream providers.

Live stream providers - without video player

If you use one of these live stream providers, send your live stream feed to a video player such as Facebook, YouTube, or Vimeo and connect the live stream url from there to Altar Live. Here are some of the most common live stream providers that do not have their own video player.

Boxcast

You can embed an individual event from Boxcast into an Altar Live event. This single event code is found on the video page for that specific event. Follow these Instructions to get your single broadcast code.

Stream Monkey

To find your embed code for a live stream, go to the Live Monitor and select your stream from the drop down menu at the top. Scroll down the page, and you'll see a tab called Sharing. All of your details can be found here.
